What will they ask me about?
We had our last Take Steps walk today, so I’m writing on fumes but.
I’m having this weird revelation/question coming to mind. My family and friends always ask about my health. It’s awesome that I’ve been realizing how much support I have without my mom suffocating me (in a literal sense), but.
What will my loved ones ask about when I’m in remission?
I want them to ask about
My career
My professional goals
My relationships
My schooling
My interests
I don’t want 90% of all my conversations to be about health, but I still want people to care.
And love me just as much when I’m healthy as when I don’t feel well.
